Faculty Opening at the Institute of Environmental Engineering

The Institute of Environmental Engineering at National Sun Yat-sen University invites applications for several tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in a field closely related to Environmental Engineering and Science from a university officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, R.O.C., and a strong commitment to excellent teaching and research.

Deadline for the application: March 20, 2025.

The NSYSU is one of the first-class research-oriented universities in Taiwan. Successful candidates should possess a strong commitment and demonstrate potential for excellence in research, and establish collaborative research links with colleagues in the Institute. Documented commitment to excellence in teaching in English at the graduate level is required. An application should include the following documents:

• A cover letter addressing the job title to apply for
• Curriculum vitae including the academic and professional backgrounds, major professions, planned courses to offer, research and teaching statements, and academic honors, etc.
• A copy of the Ph.D. diploma. Overseas academic degree must be officially recognized by an aboard unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, R.O.C.
• Copies of the graduate transcripts
• A publication list in the recent five years including Ph.D. dissertation. Note the impact factor and ranking if the article is an SCIE journal and specify if the candidate is the first or corresponding author.
• A representative publication in the recent five years
• Three recommendation letters
• All materials above should be prepared in order in a pdf file.
