Subject: Announcement for the Application of the "Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award" for the 2023-2024 Academic Year

Announcement Details:

1. Eligibility: PhD graduates from the institute for the 2023-2024 academic year.
2. Quota: Two award slots have been allocated for the College of Engineering for the 2023-2024 academic year.
3. Award Amount: NT$20,000 for each recipient.
4. Application Deadline: From now until 5:00 PM, Monday, October 28, 2024.
5. Selection Criteria: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

(1) Published at least one SCIE article.

(2) Received an "Academic Paper Award" or an "Outstanding Paper Award" from relevant organizations.

6. Required Documents:

(1) One copy of the department/institute recommendation ranking form (please provide in Word format).

(2) Recommendation letter from the advisor.

(3) Dissertation materials (including cover, approval page, Chinese and English abstracts).

Please submit your application to the institute by the specified deadline. The institute's selection committee will conduct an initial review and submit a prioritized list of recommendations to the College of Engineering for final review and decision during its committee meeting.
