專長B(1名):廢棄物管理與處理、環境奈米技術、土壤污染整治等相關領域。

可教授課程：廢棄物資源回收及再生、環境奈米技術、土壤/底泥污染整治、廢棄物及土壤/底泥分析等相關課程。

 (四) 近五年發表相關領域SCI期刊論文五篇(含)以上，具備英文授課能力。

Faculty Opening at the Institute of Environmental Engineering

The Institute of Environmental Engineering at National Sun Yat-Sen University invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions. The appointments will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree in the relevant fields of environmental engineering and science from a university officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, ROC, with application date due on February 15 of 2016.

Position 1: The Institute is particularly interested in candidate with a strong background in  industrial wastewater and flue-gas treatment technology as well as emission controls of odors and volatile organic compounds (VOC). The candidate must have teaching capabilities falling within and correlated teaching areas including physicochemical treatment, control and treatment technology of odors and VOC, design of industrial wastewater treatment processes, and water and wastewater quality analysis.

Position 2: The Institute is particularly interested in candidate with a strong background in waste management and treatment, environmental nanotechnology, and soil and groundwater pollution remediation. The candidate must have teaching capabilities falling within and correlated teaching areas including recycling and reuse of waste resources, environmental nanotechnology, remediation of soil and sediment pollutions, and waste and soil/sediment quality analysis.

The NSYSU is one of the first-class research-oriented universities in Taiwan. Successful candidates should possess a strong commitment and demonstrate potential for excellence in research and for establishing collaborative research links with existing members of the Institute. Documented commitment to excellence in teaching in English and at the graduate level is critical. The application package including a cover letter addressing the position of interest (Position 1 or Position 2), curriculum vitae (including the academic and professional backgrounds, title of Ph.D. dissertation, major professions, and academic honors, etc.), copies of the Ph.D. diploma (overseas academic degree must be officially recognized by an aboard unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ROC) and graduate transcripts, a publication list with a minimum of five publications in the recent five years (please note if the article is an SCI journal or was prepared by the applicant as the first or corresponding author), a statement of research and teaching interests (including courses to be taught), and a representative publication in the recent five years, with two recommendation letters, should be submitted to:
